My most recent role as a mechanical engineer was at Tesla Inc. where I was a mechanical designer for the Thermal/HVAC Team. While many of my projects at Tesla are still confidential, I can provide some insights to my work.
The majority of my work revolved around ramping production of Tesla's heat pump and "supermanifold" systems as well as implementing it in the upcoming Model S and Model X vehicles.
As easily the most advanced and innovative HVAC system in the world, deep comprehension of this exceptionally complex system was necessary to reliably produce, test, and package this system in a new vehicle.
I specifically designed the coolant reservoir for these new vehicles, it's interactions with nearby subsystems, and the assembly line's test procedure. I also oversaw production and assembly at our suppliers for several of the components that comprise this system.

My other main project at Tesla was developing the thermal systems for the upcoming semi truck. I was responsible for designing and integrating the majority of the thermal system into the vehicle.
